UGC D.O. letter No. F.5-7/84 (CPP) dated 26 September, 1986 regarding declaration of Dr. Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan as institutions fit to receive Central assistance in terms of the rules framed under Section 12-B of the UGC Act.The Government of Himachal Pradesh, Department of Education, has accepted the suggestions made in the meeting held on 5th August, 1986 on the draft Common Act for the Dr. Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, the University have been declared as institutions fit to receive Central assistance in terms of the rules framed under Section 12-B of the UGC Act (UGC letter 12B)
